The FBI demand the info... MS has just decided to charge to do it I presume?

They HAVE to hand the info over, they CANT refuse... why not charge them for it?

If anything it might reduce the amount the FBI ask for.

Unbelievable. If Microsoft started sacrificing children I'm sure you'd find a way to defend them. 

its not my fault you dont understand whats going on here... try opening your mind

if you ran a business and the FBI came and sad we want you to do x, and doing x cost you time and man power... would you be happy about that or would you want to charge them for your time to complete task x?

 


If it really cost that much to retrieve and send information, most people wouldnt be using computers.
