USA really needs to do something about stuff like this... I feel as though most of the Amercians don't realize just how bad the situation of false privacy really is

What I dont understand is this:

Lets say a cop is going into your house on his own and finds alot of weed. Then you actually have no problem because the cop was never allowed to enter and so the evidence is not valid.

People that get problems because some idiots ignore their privacy should just sue them  because its the same. You never allowed X to see your data so whatever they find is not valid as evidence. And even if you agreed to let Microsoft give the data to third parties you NEVER accepted that the third party can do more than STORE it. You never agreed in letting the third party LOOK at it and especially not in analyzing and using against you. That was NEVER part of the contract.

So you are the one who reads all those walls of text before clicking "Continue"? I bet more than 90% of companies have some wording like "may sell your data" with MAYBE additional "to partners". So what, that's happening. It's quite naive to think that companies that only work with money would put all your data on secure servers with references that you can't backtrack in any way. I mean, I knew this years ago as a kid that companies don't do that, why should I believe what they want to be seen as? Yeah you can call me paranoid now but that is how the world is turning and if you haven't noticed by now, will you ever?

I wonder how long companies and states can go on like this before people react. We don't need a revolution-like thing to get back to real freedom, equality and human rights but people don't do anything aside from moaning and posting their "opinion" on web services that are involved lol. Problem is people don't respect human rights anymore either. Not on such a huge scale but lots of people don't care about other people's freedom and rights because their own freedom > all because they are free!! It doesn't matter that the actual idea of freedom was that you are free unless you limit anyone else's freedom/rights (yeah it's called laws now but that's just additional to the rights). If it doesn't change why should global players change their stuff.
