The FBI demand the info... MS has just decided to charge to do it I presume?

They HAVE to hand the info over, they CANT refuse... why not charge them for it?

If anything it might reduce the amount the FBI ask for.

What kind of excuse is that?! So you don't mind a company profiting from your data? For example, if you were being investigated, and MS had info about you and decided to sell it, do you think its fair that MS could make millions from selling your data and you wouldn't even get  a single penny?
