Just like you said: if a game gets a 93/100 metacritic, I still wont buy it if it isn't my type of game. However, if I would look forward to a game and it would score low (below 65/100) I'd get worried obviously.
- 9-10: GOTY Contender
- 8-9: Good game, likely to appear it a lot of people's top 10 of the year list
- 6.5-8: Chance of being a nice, good game.
- 6-6.5: Getting worried
- 0-6: Probably wont bother unless I'm a huge fan of the franchise
