Awesome thread. Huge fan of CastleVania and pretty much agree with your reviews.
I would say however that your scores for Super CastleVania IV are way off the mark. They're far too low! Please reconsider your scoring for it otherwise I can't take the rest of your post seriously.
RIP Dad 25/11/51 - 13/12/13. You will be missed but never forgotten.
