| Augen said: I have had some time with my vita so figured able to offer my impressions here now. This system is truly remarkable, after spending time with it I definitely do not regret my purchase and would easily recommend it for others interested in a handheld. I should note this experience is with a 32gb card and a PS+ membership. Being on the go allows me to hop on my work wifi and download demos and games, and at a speed that really surprised me with Uncharted taking ~15 minutes to download and install. Much faster than PS3 days of similar game taking hours at a house. So, a bright screen, great graphics, all sorts of add ons and fast download speeds so the battery should suck, right? Nope. I have been amazed at how long this last, especially when it goes into stand by mode. No issue leaving it overnight forgetting to charge and then picking it up finding it dead. This is huge in a handheld and may be the best battery I have ever experienced. Obviously am in the honey moon phase, but right now the PS Vita is a stellar system that has offered my several fun and original gaming experiences. Gravity Rush is even better than my lofty expectations, and has rapidly become a game I adore and want more of. Thanks for all the help in the thread, very happy to be part of the club. |
