Well, technically, they are different but not by much. Different races are susceptible to different diseases while immune to others. Sickle Cell Anemia is a perfect example. There are other natural attributes such as height and build that differ slightly between races.

But really, those are just byproducts of living in a different environment for a long period of time and evolving to best suit that environment (dark skin in hot climates, blue eyes in cold ones, etc.) and the differences are so minimal that it's not really an issue.

In reality, race is an arbitrary line in the sand drawn by man based entirely on appearance. There are no real defining traits that make one person one race vs. another (such as Hispanics technically being called Caucasians because of Spanish influence), just a set of traits that lumps them into one "group". Really, it's just a bunch of bullshit.
