After EA's Chief Financial Officer was questioned by investors why Titanfall wasn't going to be on PlayStation platforms when the PS4 was obviously going to be successful it was pretty obvious at that point those with the power to do so would make sure the next game wasn't any kind of exclusive. Heads would have rolled. Then you had Respawn making it clear that wouldn't happen again. The actual news would have been if an exclusivity deal either way for the next title happened.
