if this attatch rate continues and PS4 sold around 100 million that means the camera would sell around 15 million. this camera doesnt cost much to make, its R&D isnt that high either because it uses existing tech and they barely marketed it. as of right now this made Sony around 54 million in revenue. its quite a success for what it is, and it will continue to sell even more, because streaming is only gaining popularity. this is a pure profit machine for sony, even if they arent making much profit per unit, its still making them more than they even expected it.
