My point still holds true, though. It's not a huge system seller. You don't hear people talk up DMC the same way you do GoW even though the DMC series has been slightly more successful.

 There's actually a much better list of games to choose from than Devil May Cry. Here are some games that outsold God of War on the PS2:

1) Sonic Heroes

2) Ace Combat 04

3) Enter the Matrix

4) Spiderman 2: The Movie

5) Simpsons: Road Rage

6) True Crime: Streets of LA

That's just a sampling. These games all sold MORE than God of War. And don't get me started on God of War II: sufficed to say that 186 PS2 games sold better than it did. As Rocket Pig pointed out, we're not saying the game is bad or that you can't enjoy it, just be realistic about its selling power.
