I live in Montreal and I know some people who thought 399$ was already too expensive but now that it's 50$ more they'll take their time to see what both MS and Sony have to offer this fall. I wasn't going to get a PS4 anytime soon but this hike solidifies my interrest for an X1. Will wait until PS4 is cheaper than 400$ and gets more games before thinking about buying one.

No offense, but... to me it sounds like famine wages are the rule over their in Canada. To buy a console at this price level i had to wait a couple of years after it was released.

Maybe we don't like to make unecessary spendings and maybe we are more responsible with our money. I am always amazed by comments on this site where a guy is stating that he is buying and selling a console depending on the availability of softwares instead of just keeping it until the games they like comes out. In the end they may end up buying the same console two or three time... What a waste! I also have friends that makes lot of money and they don't even have a TV, they just don't want one...
