I really get tired of hearing about "insiders". Most likely a guess on his part to be completely honest. If it is does end up being $250-300($100 less than an entire console), it is a good price for the tech but still too steep for most people to get it. Developers and publisher would have to really be pushing VR for it to be successful, and when it is a peripheral i dont know how many will be behind it.
