Not the way Star Wars does it, you also will never have an actual light saber unless you can have a decent fusion generator the size of a Double A battery with an end stopper that you can twist that wouldn't melt under thousands of degrees or burning yourself into ashes first. That whole crystal thing is like, not physically possible.
