I think if used by a singular person, it might be successful. But I don't think it will have breakout success for gaming in general because it lacks the group fun of playing video games. If I have my friends over to play games and one of us straps on (for lack of a better phrase) a headset, one person is enjoying the device, kind of like the Wii U tablet. They have to figure out a way to create that arcade feel of people gathering around a cabinet and having a good time, or Wii feel of people waving their hands around together and laughing. Then it will be a success.
Either way, I doubt I'll buy in to it though.
I could be wrong. Which I've been known for in the past.
