So, for now, 1080p is enough for consoles, especially considering that there is only one true 1080p console.

Considering the viewing distance, 1080p kinda breaks barrier when viewer can't see defects of the picture without getting unreasonably close to it, ps4 is the one and only console so far that truly passed this barrier(that view applies to 95%+ of console gamers, especially since ~50% are still fine with 720p).


That's kinda my point the resolution excerbates the fact that phsyics in games looks more primitive, graphics in Titanfall take a step back and reveal the textures to be more flat in 4k imho than at XB1 native. 1080p will have to be ENOUGH on consoles, no shit they won't ever touch 4k this gen. You can see the difference in 4k from 1 foot to 50 feet sheesh you people need glasses.
