I think M$ is making huge losses on these deals.
Sony would have to pay less for exclusives like resident evil because it sells most on sony platforms and the ps4 has a huge lead on xb1. Some titles are selling 2:1 on the ps4 so microsoft would basically have to pay for the dev. + loss in profit due to it not being on the ps4.
Sony would just have to fund the game and let their console do all the profit making for capcom.
Capcom, like ea would have to be stupid to not bring the game over to the ps4, or ps3 if crossgen, If they do they are missing out on atleast 5 million sales from PS and thats a huge loss of profit that IDT MS is willing to pay.
Maybe MS got lucky with ea due to their sleezy deceptiveness of "analyst saying xb will outsell the ps4 that's how they got exclusivity" bullshit. We all saw how that went lol. PS4 still has the hype and that is also selling games and titanfall lost a lot of hype due to it not being on the ps4 and will probably cost ea BIG in the long run because ms has already lost a lot of marketshare going from virtually even to loosing by big margins now. We aren't going to see the mass effect or bioshock on ps3 selling less than xbox version anymore.
