Main reason for doing this though is the increased EU game prices. I finally made a US psn account to get games for nearly half the price compared to EU psn and retail. I will propably never go back. All the ps4 owners i know here in denmark uses the same trick. I think digital sales have risen a lot more than expected because of EU players doing this. It should only increase as the trick becomes more common knowledge. |
Off topic, but just out of curiosity, if you do this, and you play a multiplayer game, does it put you on US servers instead of EU servers, resulting in long ping times? Or is it smart enough to know where you are and connect you to the fastest servers?
