I'm guessing you have motion enhancer set to "standard" or "high" since you mentioned it felt like a documentary.
Some people actually like the 24fps judder for some reason.
My brother complains movies feel like a CGI movie with motion enhancer set to standard and he hates it, while my friends on the other hand loves the smooth effect.
