That source seems kind of shifty. That being said, I think the numbers probably aren't as good as they were hoping for, or else we'd have heard about it by now. I know EA and and Respawn came out like bandits... MS, not so much, since they footed the bill for the marketing. Which I'm sure was through the roof.
