So that .22 sitting in my closet is going to suddenly pop up and shoot somebody on it's own?
And what supermarket do you live by?
Personally, I believe that there should be limited controls placed on firearm owenership, but that they should by no means be banned.
I mean, if we're going to ban firearms, why not ban alcohol while we're at it? A drunk driver is just as much if not more dangerous than a firearm. Actually, since we've already established that people are not responsible for their actions, but the objects they use are, let's ban cars, as a car in the hands of either an intoxicated or sober person is extremely dangerous.
