I have both, so I can give you a unbiased opinion.
Got PS4 on launch... Xbox One just last week.
Both are great...go with the ps4 if you want a better value. (free plus games, better resolutions on games, and if any of their exclusives interest you)
Go with the x1 for a better online experience..(less lag, no maintenance etc etc)
TitanFall is a ton of fun, prob the most fun i've had on a fps since cod4.
But if I had to pick just one console I prob would go with the ps4, it's a much better value in the long run.
I sold my kinect to the x1 on ebay for $100 btw...
