Digimon and Vita exclusive... so no

I honestly think being a Vita exclusive will help it. It fufills a gameplay niche that is largely missing on the system and garners the game more attention, deserving or not. Judging from the developer i assume the game will be deserving though.

Theres a reason why the Ragnarok series has sold more units on the PSVita then the previous games did on the DS and PSP combined.  Although the Vita has a smaller userbase it is still a very dedicated base, actively looking for games to play. The only titles which suffer from its small userbase are games which would either outpace its userbase (games that would easily become multimillion sellers) or games which have such niche appeal that they are resigned to a minority, even if they do arrive during a software drought. A big budget, Monster collecting RPG would clean house on a starving system in my opinion. That fact that its digimon is a slight boost in that  its recognisable brand which carries nostalgia for some. A reboot (which this is) is a perfect opportunity for people to jump back on board.
