First off, I dunno how you can say FF 11 was a suck gaming experience, I loved it (I like 12 too, but that's alright)
I do think that developers focus more on graphics now (maybe just a little too much) instead of like the good ol' days when they had to focus on gameplay cause graphics weren't as advanced.
I think even early 3d games focused more on gameplay than these days. maybe that's just me though.
