My thoughts on the Xbox One: It's kinda awesome. Kinect works great with voice commands and gestures. It's got a lot of little extras and I'm still trying to figure out what it can and can't do. It really feels next gen and moves very smoothly and quickly.

Titanfall was pretty awesome, the one match I played. Graphically not all that, though. I think the 360 version will be virtually identical. Kinect Sports was pretty awesome. The Kinect sees EVERYTHING, even in the dark. I have less than half the space of my original Kinect (which is in the living room) and it still worked like a dream after the initial setup. Haven't tried Killer Instinct yet. Probably gonna buy Ryse soon--but MGSV and FFX come out on Tuesday so Ryse will have to wait.

HDMI passthrough was great at first....until I realized that I couldn't watch 3D Net on DirecTV anymore. Also, it won't let me use the satellite receiver when the console is powered off. Luckily, that's not my primary TV watching TV so it doesn't bother me much.

The controller was a little awkward at first but after a little play, I can say it's an improvement over the 360 in almost every way. Not a fan of the slimmer grips but then again, I'm a big man.

Xbox One owners better not EVER say anything about the Wii U's day one update. This one took so long that I fell asleep, woke up and it was STILL updating! At one point, it was going so slowly that I though my system bricked! And then I had to download my free copy of Titanfall. I started at about 9pm and didn't get to play at all last night. I wish I would have purchased the retail version and gave my DL code to my nephew so I could play with him. Oh well. Too late, now.

There are a few things the One does that my PS4 doesn't and vice versa. Some of the stuff people complained about had apparently been fixed (Like the inability to see how much HDD space you have left). It's actually a pretty swell console. I'll still be buying most multi-plats on PS4 but the Xbox One definitely holds its own.

And I'm gone again. Good night, guys.
