Will industry pros in the future refer to the PS2 as both a 6 & 7 gen sys?

Yes but the PS2 outsells the 360 and PS3 still. I doubt the SNES outsold PSone, GBA outsold DS, etc.

They sold well, but I don't think next-gen well.
