Steroids, why are they outlawed from sport?

let me ask you this: would you let your child use steroids if (s)he asked for it?

Not if I could help it, but I have been conditioned to know steroids are bad. Am I right? thats what im debating. But still as far as I know they are bad, so I would stop them if I could. Would I take them myself, probably if I wanted to improve myself for something specific.
