Lets put the argument a different way, steroids essentially are hormone/testosterone ehancements. Each person is built differently, one person purely down to genetics will have greater strength than another (many animals are bred the same way) so why is it illegal for any person to take an additive to (somewhat equall) the playing field?

If a person with downs or another serious debilitation, and they came up with a drug that completely cured said ailment, should he be outlawed from competing in a sport because they are taking this drug? how is it different from taking a steroid?

The best way to find out if you can trust somebody is to trust them.
