I don't really mind. Single player in modern FPSes has been pretty awful in general, so I would've rather have them spend more time on perfecting the multiplayer rather than tacking on a single player campaign just like so many other games did.
Besides, Team Fortress 2 and Battlefield 2 both do not have single player campaigns yet they are one of the most beloved FPSes in the last 10 years. However I would really like if they added a horde mode like Nazi Zombies or Firefight.
