Why is heterosexuality the norm?

 I have never seen any report of this being true. If your going to say everyone who is straght is denying you need some facts to back it up.

I don't remember who came up with the statistic but imagine that 100% gay and 100% straight are on the oposite edges of a line, these are the minority of people. most people go in between, ranging from having a slight atraction to the same gender, to being completely bisexual (midle of the line). the problem is that most people that aren't on the edges of this line simply deny any form of atraction they feel for the same gender and it ends up looking like the majority of people are straight.

Your using words like most and minority. You admit you don't have anything to prove this. I highly doubt you read this from academic paper and probably got this from a random site. Your use of attraction is undefined and could be said the same for incest or pedos. Tomorrow I will look this up at my college. I'm pretty sure the claim is baseless because it seems like one of those 'we all' arguments that are assumptions based personal feelings than the actual facts.
