Will industry pros in the future refer to the PS2 as both a 6 & 7 gen sys?

In the strictest sense, it is a sixth generation console and can be nothing more. However, it is selling just as well or better than "current" systems so some will consider it part of the seventh gen, perhaps rightfully so.
