I think after MS bought several big JRPGs, yet not a single one of them sold 250k units (terrible even by Japanese standards), that no company that would make a game that would be popular with Japanese audiences but only put it on an unpopular platform. The 360 ports of Biohazard 5 & 6 sold pitifully compared to the PS3 ports. The Xbox brand is a dead-end in Japan and it's losing steam in Europe. They might get away with a Dead Rising here and there, but not one of their top 3 biggest IPs. If in the unlikely event this rumor is true, then MS had to have paid Capcom a metric shitton of money to make it worth their while. |
Precisely. Resident Evil 7 will be Xb one exclusive. Biohazard 7, on the other hand, will be multiplatform.
