Obama's Speech or Supreme Court on Gun Rights...which is more important?

The main reason that individual people should have access to guns is something that one of the Founding Fathers (I don't recall which one at this time) said, "If a government becomes too oppressive, it is the responsibility of the people to overthrow that government and establish a new one... " but I botched that, at best that is a paraphrase.
