The funny thing is, EA makes a lot of really good games. I'd take them over Activision any day, for example. They're willing to try different things, like Titanfall and Mirror's Edge. Also, of course, they have BioWare, which is one of the best.
They do a lot of things that are intended purely to make money, yes, but that's true of a lot of other companies. If they don't make money, they'll go out of business. They deserve their fair share of criticism, certainly, but sometimes it gets a little crazy.
At the end of the day, they're still one of the most important players in the industry.
