Have you ever broken a CURRENT gen control by dropping it?

Back in the good old days it was mandatory to throw the controller on the floor when you got angry. It stopped being a common practice when the N64 was released since the controller would break from the impact. Well, that or the floor.

Last gen - this gen for me since Im a bit retarded - i dropped a third party controller to my GC. You could use it as a maracas afterwards because of al the loose plastic inside. I used an abundance of epoxy glue to fix it so now it is as good as new.
