In all fairness and honestly, while motion controls were neat for somethings, great for certian things (such as FPS and shooting in general), I have always preferred to play a game with a more conventional controller with buttons and sticks anyway. Which is why I was thrilled to learn that Wii U's main controller would be a normal controller, with an extra touch screen added on it. Fine by me. The point is, it's a regular controller. By that same token, at least personally, I'd rather just relax and play a game looking at a TV screen, not looking at a TV screen strapped to my head. I don't think there's anything all that terribly immersive about the concept, and I don't really need to be "immersed" in a game world anyway....I just need to play it and enjoy it.
VR just isn't for me.
