x360 multiplats were great because it was the easier to program for console. Everything on ps3 was ported from 360. This time, all the devs say ps4 is easier to code on, and x1 is getting all the ports. A little research goes a long way. But maybe I'm just a fanboy. |
Not to mention 360 had a better gpu (That again LOL), better ram architecture and not a split ram pool, and ps3 was a bitch to code for. Now ps4 has an even better gpu, better ram, easier to code for, basically every advantage. PS3 was only slightly more powerfull if devs used it's alien CELL architecture to offload GPU tasks, then games looked a little better opn ps4. The gap is vastly different and bigger now. PS4 and x1 have the same architecture, only x1 is weaker in almost every area by a bigger margin. Anyone who brongs up ps3 and 360 doesn't understand hardware, it's a totally different scenario.
