The Memory Bandwith is where all the GPU information is sent before it is displayed to you tv. Hence the Xbox One has more memory bandwith so it can push more GPU information to your tv than the PS4. GPU power means very little if you don't have enough memory bandwith to show off what the GPU is capable of. I am not sure, but I don't think the memory bandwith in the PS4 can even showcase the full power of the GPU. |
Yeah but it doesnt have more bandwidth and the x1 gpu cannot process as much as the ps4 gpu, there is no way it can keep up. You cannot add up the numbers like you did it doesn;t work that way
Build a PC with the bets cpu, ram, and a weak gpu, guess what happens? Sorry but you really don't know what you are talking about here.
GPU means very little sure......The ps4 has more then enough fast ram for the GPU, and i has a lot better gpu, so the x1 will struggle with higher resolutions, effects, shaders, fiillrate period. It always will be that way.
It does not matter if you have fast ram, the gpu still has to keep up and process everything, the x1 simply cannot keep up. The esram is also too small too offset the faster gddr5 ram, period.
You post is laughably mis-informed. Anyone who says Memory bandwidth is important and GPU isn;'t really is out of their depth. Fast ram useless with a weaker gpu period. GPU does all the heavy GPU processing. Not tm mention your assertion that x1 has more bandwidth is flat false.
