The Saturn was my favorite Sega console and I've owned all of the relevant ones, so I have no idea why it would be listed with the likes of Jaguar and CDi.


sorry, but Saturn HW is just awful in every possible way. it has good shooters, some rpgs and a lot of arcade dowgraded versions...yeah, better go play Sega Rally2 on the arcades 

the HW is awful, the games are so-so...if Jaguar had the same support Saturn it wouldve been similarly mediocre.

I agree that Hyperscan and CDi are much worse though

Saturn= mediocre

The dual CPU/dual GPU architecture gave devs headaches in a time when multi-threaded programming wasn't really a thing, that's for sure, but I immensely enjoyed games like Daytona USA, Sega Rally, Virtua Fighter 2, Panzer Dragoon 1+2+Saga, Dragon Force, Nights, Clockwork Knight, Shining Force III, Winter Heat, Worms (the first one was amazing, all other titles are junk imo), Saturn Bomberman, Sim City 2000 and Wipeout 2097.

I had more fun with my Saturn than with my Mega Drive/Genesis or Dreamcast that's for sure.
