Again this is entirely personal opinion but I would go Nvidia over AMD. Don't get me wrong AMD has some fantastic cards but to me Nvidia are the best. The best card close to your price range is probably the 760, though if you could scrape up a little extra cash and get a 770 you would in no way regret it.

Cool, which motherboard/CPU should I put with those cards?

I have the Gigabyte Z87X and I highly recommend it, fantastic MOBA.  For a CPU I recommend any quad core Intel really, prefferably an i7 if you can afford one.

Haha that MOBA looks like it would occupy about a third of my budget .  What are its advantages?  What should I look for in a MOBA?  Cheaper alternatives?

oh is it? sorry, my bad Im not sure how things convert to your currency. Any idea what your budget coverts to in US dollars? If not I obviously understand but it would help me budge your build.  

Our dollar buys around 90US cents...but we also pay a premium of say 10-20% on US prices as standard, sometimes more.  So call it about 75-80US cents...it is also possible I am looking at the OC model and it could be the most expensive...
