Yep, I just went back and examined the figures more directly for the 360/PS3. We're now 10 weeks past the initial launch of the PS3: the last week's total was 18,713, as can be viewed here:

10 weeks after the 360's launch, it's total weekly sales were 27,262, as can be viewed here:

Also importantly, we can add the totals for the first three weeks of both consoles. The 360 launched in Europe during the week of December 11th, 2005. The 360's first three weeks totaled as follows:
Week 1: 232,546
Week 2: 99,995
Week 3: 71,040
The Playstation 3 launched during the week of March 25, 2007. The PS3's first three weeks totaled as follows:
Week 1: 520,325
Week 2: 103,667
Week 3: 66,790
The 360's total is 403,561, while the PS3's total is 690,782, giving the PS3 an initial lead of 287,221. Since that time, the 360 has actually sold better than the PS3 every week except for one (Week 4). In other words, the PS3 started out stronger and became weaker: the 360 started out weaker and became stronger.
Still, this doesn't change the fact that the PS3 has (or will) reach the one million mark before the 360 did.
