They had the time in fact, AT LEAST in UK, to make some offer with some retailer. Since 1 week, all the web know the price drop is coming.
Also, I think people gamers discuss together so everybody knew (IN UK !!)
that a price drop was coming. In others EUROPE countries were Xbox360 is less popular, YES, advertising for the price drop is needed (france/germany/spain/italy)
