Well not completely. As retail games of Warhawk allow you to instal the game under more then one PSN ID. It's logical to assume at least a couple people have done that.

if you bought the disc version of warhawk, it does install the game data onto the ps3 aswell, BUT the game won't start up unless you use the disc. so if it is installed on more than one ps3, then it won't play unless a warhawk disc is inside the ps3. i know this because i have the disc version.

What he was saying was that many people might have used the same disc to install the game on their PS3. Say for example you bought the game and play it on your PS3. Then you lend it to your friend who uses the same disc to try out the game on his PS3. Even though you both used the same disc you would be ranked based on your unique user id. You are not both playing the game at the same time; however, you are both still on the boards uniquely. Not everybody who owns the game plays at the exact same time either.
