Wow so they not only gave the middle finger to US early adopters but rubbed it in by announcing it a couple months before the console was even out? Wow what dicks. I'm sure a fan base as loud and demanding and independent as Sonys was all up in arms over that? Oh wait I heard not a peep. Funny how that works.

You're deliberatly being facetious and are simply incredulous to my argument. But that's alright, I will continue to breakdown your foundation until you either realize its made of cardboard or until you fall threw, whatever works for you. Why would consumers be mad at others recieving consolation? Furthemore, those in Japan couldn't buy a Japanese ps4 before the Febuary, so its not even an issue concerning early adopters. Buying a Playstation 4, when Japan was allowed to get one, didn't get you Knack.

From your POV something like consolation must seem totally foreign to you so allow me to elaborate: When a company fcks up, they apologize in the form of added consoloation rather than just fixing the problem because they value their customer's support.

As a consumer, why do I care that Sony released the PS4 late in Japan? As a consumer, I see Buyer A getting a free game bundled with the console while I got nothing. If this was something that would bother me, I would be bothered whether it was Company A (MS) or Company B (Sony) doing it. What you're trying to say is fans should be pissed at Company A (MS) but hey guys relax its perfectly logical and cool guys relax! when it comes to Company B.

I understand consolation perfectly fine, seems you are confused on the whole "fucking up" part though. As a consumer I wouldn't expect extra shit if a console released late in the US. When Sega or MS gave me a few broken consoles I didn't demand anything extra. When Sony repeatedly charged my credit card for stupid services I never signed up for via PSN, I never demanded any extra reimbursement. Just now an hour ago Whataburger forgot my daughters chicken strip basket. I noticed about halfway home. I turned around and went back and got it. I didn't ask for any free cookies or a free drink or a refund. I couldn't imagine living life like that, looking for whatever handout I could get any time a company "wronged" me.

I paid a price for their product that at the time I deemed to be worth it. If something better comes along (like oh idk it ALWAYS DOES in consoles) then I have no one to blame but myself, not MS/Sony/Nintendo.
