It's Golden Horde, Mongol Empire cease to exist by that time. Traditional historiography considers it one of the main factors that lead to consolidation of many Russian fedual states under the hand of Moscow prince, as any common enemy would do.
Though there're centuries between one and another, but that's ancient history where myth coexist with actual history and it's hard to distinguish one from another (myth as a form peception of history by many, not necessarily smth that never happened).
