I just hope he learned his lesson.
Sure it's easy for people to blame the devs, just as easy as it is for devs to blame the publishers. We can hate on the publishers all we want but we shouldn't forget that the devs were the ones who made the deal with the publishers in the first place.
If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.
