The best demos I've seen so far was the soccer match, you could see the whole field, all the players and the stands clearly. And Googlemaps in an earlier demo, full roadmap in 4K.

As you said it's the same as running ps2 classics in HD. They look better than ever, but also very obviously not made for 1080p. It's quite a high price tag currently for better anti aliasing.
Talking about not made for 1080p, I thought the downgrades for Forza 5 were exaggerated, but those screenshots look pretty bad for gen 8. I guess it looks better in motion.

Oh yeah I agree then kinda just misunderstood you a bit.
And as for Forza it looks nothing like the reveal trailer. Huge downgrades in visuals.
