Everybody agreed to give their console a crippling weakness. Nintendo chose to be underpowered. Microsoft chose DRM and a high price. Sony chose to give people ass cancer when they touch the "share" button. At the last second, Sony backed out and gave their console NO weakness. By the time M$ and Nintendo found out, it was too late.
Of course, I can't prove this. It was a secret meeting but believe me, it happened.
