I wouldn't say that. I'd just say the democratic party is a lot more split up. There are a lot less pure Liberals in the democratic party then their are Neo-Cons in the republican party.
I mean you've got Union Democrats and Enviromentalist Democrats who are often at odds and only working together because the other party has their mutual enemy despite the fact that both groups kinda used to be Teddy Roosevelt Republicans. Then you've got the big buissness Democrats like the Clintons who just support different Big Buisnesses.
Also that a lot of Democrats are split on social issues, which are what get talked the most on talk radio. Plenty of democrats are just against gay marriage or affirmitive action.
Also for whatever reason Democrats love to get pissed off... democrats are much more likely to listen or watch conservative shows then vice versa.
Republicans are less interested in seeing democrats piss them off, and just want to hear why they are pissed off. While democrats want to see why they should be pissed off and tell other people why.
