Now, to more serious things.
Ukraine not belongs to Russia. If you'd look in the history, you'd see that it never was such countries as Ukraine, Belarus or Kazakhstan. They more or less are parts of Russian Empire. (Its more difficult actually, i'm trying to be short).
When Soviet Union was alive it was the same country, with the same mentality of people, just like different regions of one country.
Even after 1991 they still a lot like the same country, all people there speak Russian, we almost have now customs or border control on the border. A lot of people still have friends/relatives on all sides of border and actually we don't feel as a foreigners to eash other.
