Second paragraph: Im not arguing that. The game shipped as a Castlevania, It borrows Castlevania mythos loosly, for all intents and purposes ... Its a Castlevania game and will judged as such. Nobody should be required to pick anygame up in the any franchise and not use previous knowledge and expectations. That's the gamble Konami made.That's all im saying.
4th: Sure, Im not defending them, though tod2 is really not a good choice because its still an actual tales game and while not thee specific one it would do just the same. Then not to mention how many companies get away that nowadays? It was easy in the past due to western gamers obliviousness to what goes on in Japan.
